I think I found out about SAB from Techcrunch originally. Yesterday's story could really get a lot of new believers in.

Someone has submitted the TechCrunch article on Digg, so 'digg it' if you like it: digg.com/programming/Music_Model_Gaining_TractionTechCrunch definitely has quite a large audience, and a lot of bloggers feed of those sites, so it's very good that they have done a progress report. There was quite a lot of publicity when SellaBand launched, but then most people were very skeptic and there were no results to convince them otherwise, just arguments. Now there are some results and they are looking very promising, so now we need to go back to remind the skeptics who had forgotten about it and show them the results. I would like to point out that at the moment the country supplying the most Believers (and artists) is the Netherlands, even though it's a country with a population just over 16 million people. SellaBand has received the most publicity in the Netherlands, that's probably why it gained so much more traction here. Imagine what that sort of publicity could do in say the UK with over 60 million, Germany with over 80 million, and the US with over 300 million people. In that case I would expect the SellaBand community to be at least 20 times its current size. So there should still be a lot of potential early adopters out there that still haven't heard about SellaBand yet. I have been going around lately asking some of these sites to report on the progress of these startups that are actually trying to make a difference, instead of reporting almost daily on RIAA lawsuits. (Not TechCrunch by the way, I didn't have anything to do with this article). I hope more will follow.

Those last two articles are not really about Sellaband, only refering to Sellaband in a sentence.

Today an article in Het Finacieel Dagblad, (kind of dutch Financial Times) about the the visit of the dutch minister of Finance in Amsterdam to some creative entrepreneurs and guess who is one of them, somebody called Pim Betist of the Internet Company "Sellaband" . Also found a Brasilian Blog in portugese and an other article in the german newspaper "der Tagesspiegel" sellaband.reygamba.info/sabinnews.html
