I was just wondering, since I've got 'sell your cds through SAB' on my profile:
* are the limited edition albums numbered?
* if so, why can't I select which of the numbered albums I do and don't want to sell through SAB?
* if not, why aren't they numbered and what is the difference then between the limited and the unlimited version?
Curious minds want to know...

I also have a question:
What if the LE CDs don't sell, or I change my mind (let's say I keep two - one for me and one for a mate and put the others up for sale through SAB, but I then change my mind and need a couple more for other friends). Can I get some more of my LE CDs delivered to me, or do I have to buy them back at $15?
The whole bit about the message saying you have until 22 may to decide seems wrong. You should be able to move the CDs around at any point - although you would have to pay postage if you've already taken delivery I guess.

I wish to know if it's possible to withdraw certain numbers (like #1, #1000 etc.) and sell the rest.

I was wondering this also. If the le cds are numbered do you get an earlier numbered one the earlier you believe in a band. Surely I would want a lower number cd. But then what about top ups. Can get messy. We shall see.

For now, I've selected to receive all of my parts as CD, since I do have some #1000 and such which I don't want to sell.

I'm not sure if you actually get that #1000, big chance someone who invested before you withdraw his parts thus giving you a lower number

I think it is a tough call as to how many CDs to put up for sale (if any).
It is great that SAB is giving us a chance to "break Even" by selling our CDs to other Believers.
However how will we feel when Lily becomes the biggest star since Madonna and we have sold our CDs when we could potentially make a fortune if we were willing to hold onto them for a few years.

Heaven forbid that there's not much demand for the LE CDs, but on the off chance, what order are they sold in? Presumably the order in which the Parts were purchased?
Again, if there's no market for them and you then change your mind (eg they've not been sold for 6 months), is there a mechanism for getting them sent to you (taken off sale)?
If there's such a mechanism (and I'd say there should be!), and sales pick up again (eg the Artist hits the headlines and generates interest in their back catalog somehow), is there a mechanism for putting them back up for sale through SAB.
I can see there will be problem with putting them back after you've taken delivery of them, but they're not insurmountable - ie post a bunch of LE CDs to SAB HQ with "FORSALE" on the envelope and your details and they get put back up for sale!

UBG I don't think so. Sellaband CDs should be brand new shiny right out of the box.. and then they should be able to reject cds sent back to them.. a bit too much work I think.

It's just annoying that I have to decide (by the 22 May) and then cannot (apparently) change my mind either way. It just seems inflexible in an increasingly flexible world! In an ideal world I'd have all the LE CDs sent to me, and decide in a few weeks/months/years if/when I want to sell some through SAB. Without that option, eBay here I come! Actually, I've elected to sell some through SAB, but I keep changing my mind about the number to sell and the number to keep ... hence my quandary of course! Not only would I like the moon on a stick, I would also like to have my cake and eat it! UBG

same here. got 26 Clémence CDS, I think I'll keep 10 of them myself, but I'm still not sure about it. I definitely won't sell all-minus-one! By the way, I suppose you still DO get the returns from the CDs you sell, right? So for an invested part you get - $11 for when the CD gets sold to another person - part of the advertising income - part of the regular cd sales OR - limited edition CD - part of the advertising income - part of the regular cd sales
is that right?

As far as I am aware, the sale of the LE CDs is ONLY the sale of the physical CD and not a transfer of the "part" ownership, so you still get the same share of any revenues generated. UBG

The same question was up in my mind for a few minutes, but it's only a Cd sale not a swap or sale of parts. Hans (de Mooij)

I am trying hard to work out what the problem is here ! I see it very simply, if you love the artist to bits and you are jealous that anyone else has the privelige of owning an LE disk, accept them all. If you have mega ultra belief that the the LE disks of your fave artists are gonna have the value of Claptons guitar or Elton Johns jockstrap then stockhold in your own personal nuclear bunker. And if you can't quite decide, then use your wits, edge the bets, have a few more than you need just in case and let the rest ride the wind of market forces. Just a thought ! :-)
