For all of you out there who may not be aware, today is the one year anniversary of this forum. It also has the honour of being the first user generated site for Sellaband out there - yes we existed before imasellabandaddict, the club and all the rest. I've been keeping an eye on what has been happening with this forum since the start of the official forum on Sellaband and so now seems to be the right time to ask the following question. Should this forum stay or should it go, and if it should stay, should it change in any way? (what should it become, what topics should it cover etc that will convince people to become actively involved again) I started this forum because there was none on Sellaband at the time, we had no idea how long it would take an official forum to appear (much longer than planned as it turns out) and people were looking for a proper place to chat to each other and about Sellaband. I always said I would keep it open as long as people used it and felt it was worth it, and it has been quite noticeable that since the launch of the official Sellaband forum that the traffic and posting on here has dried up to a trickle. So it's decision time folks - this is YOUR forum and YOUR choice, as it always has been. What's next is up to you. I'll be reviewing the results of the poll in January when Christmas is over, so you have until then to decide the future. Discuss at your leisure...

It should definitely stay - but we do need to get more people over to chat.

As there was no Forum at all on SAB, it was quite clear - if you got to know, but a lot of profile had the needed link - where to find the community. Now SAB has it onw Forum, and it is always easier to stuck on the same place (people _are_ lazy beasts ) - so any external Forum will be hard to exist at the same level (especially if no links are provided by the system themselves) - even if the internal one lacks on possibilties. (and I don't mean the avatars and blinky smiley stuff ) So, although I'm not a daily writer in most of the forums, I think it should stay - and if it was only for historic reasons, as I don't know how we could change the focus, that everyone would start to write here again... This forum helpes me in the beginning when I started supporting Solid Tube. It was helpful and I loved to be in a kind of inner Circel of SAB. I think it´s still necessary because there is not so much traffic. There are more long terms of discussions and no exhibionists (artists and believer). Thanks Lu for reminding me to get back to this forum.

Hmmm...I think it should stay. This forum is not, at this moment, much frequented...coming here from the official forum it seems that here people are talking at a lower volume...the fact that a post needs days to be answered gives the impression that people here are acting in a different way from the official forum. I can't say if this is in an absolute way worse or better but it is different and it is interesting. There are many people on sab so it won't be a surprise if someone comes here to see if there is a different point of view. I don't know if it really is there but I think it is a nice opprtunity
