... hey, what was your favourite moment of the 'old' SellaBand? Its over now, no one knows what will come, time to look back, one last time Oh, and mine was definitly one special night in Poland, well, including the morning after, when we wondered, who actually had paid the last bill for all the tequila & stuff. But sorry no details here

the Sellabrations, including the shows at Winston and Bourbon St. going to Paris with Pim and two nice believers (despite what happened with Clémence and SAB later) picking up Brian Taylor at Schiphol airport and the meeting that day several 50K countdowns (most of them through yaplet chats) receiving/listening to some of the LECDs, especially (but not only) Cubworld, Julia Marcell, Lucia Iman, Maitreya and So What

Gotta be the SAB Gigs ... The first New Year gig when I first met Mandy and Jake still makes me smile just to think of it. The Sellabrations and handing out flyers in Leidsplein (sp?), the London gigs, MDATA, the Sheet Metal boys.
Fun Fun Fun

For me the best thing was meeting many wonderful people and starting a new hobby that I never suspected I'd get into ... and all because of Clémence whom I found on the TF1.fr French TV site while looking for a modern day Françoise Hardy to make learning French more pleasant!
Several of the young lady singers have become 'angels' to me and great personal friends, the first being N'Kenge who quite unknowingly (and that was an important factor) dragged me out of a serious depression. They have since become firm family friends of both Suky and I. Francis Rodino is also someone we have met many times and is a great guy but I'm sure he would understand that he couldn't quite fit the 'angel' description! ;D
We have met many of you other believers at Dreb's Sheet Metal gigs, Francis', Kaitee's, and Heidi's gigs.
Alongside these friends and inseparable from them are the places where we all met up together with many other believers and artists. This started for us at the Paradiso, where we first met UBG then Mel & Ian of Sunsoma welcomed us. After that came visits to the Rockhouse in Salzburg with Pieps, Lorraine Jones, ConFused 5 and Solid Tube the 1st time and also So What the 2nd time.
I was given a VIP welcome by Two Way Radio at their CD launch in the Melkweg, AMS. The London Sellagigs and of course Phil's fantastically well organised Sellaparty with its videos from 2 of his 3 Angels who couldn't attend. Gisel was there of course!
Many many more memories of course but it will always be the fantastic friends that are the highlight!
- but it's not finished, just entering a new chapter!
Thank you all for the friendship/Dave

Well there are all sorts of things that come to mind.
One of the earliest has to be the first time I turned up at a Second Person gig. I'd barely stuck my nose round the door, when there was a cry of "Lucretia" from across the other side of the room and Mark came hurrying over. All the more impressive considering everyone else that evening either greeted me with an "Are you Lucretia?" or had to be introduced (and that includes people like JohanV who was there). There had only been the one picture of me online at the time in the Tribune, so for Mark to take that much of an effort with someone he'd never met before was something I consider really special.
Lily. The first Sellaband artist to contact me. To meet her in Amsterdam 2007 and find she's just as much of a dynamo in real life as she was on the site at the time. And nothing quite beats getting to the airport five hours before the flight home is due to leave having got up at 4am, because she doesn't really like travelling alone so we agreed to share a taxi there. I should have been a week in detox after the amount of coffee I drank before the flight that morning.
Which of course neatly brings me onto "Balls". This will either mean nothing or everything to you, depending on where you were and who you were with during Sellabration 2007.
London Calling. Plenty of memories there, including the heat.
Brian Taylor and some of the madcap projects he had ideas for that I helped with because he didn't know how to do it himself.
And yes, maybe there are some other stories which are only known to a few as well...
