Oh dear! You do realise I'm happily married, don't you guys? ;D
The 10 parts for the living room concert sounds like it ought to attract quite a few people, particularly those living the other side of the world. Going to cost you a lot more than $100 to get out there to play for them though!

Jup, that's true... But maybe this could work for Belgian and Dutch believers? We don't mind to travel for a few hours... Let the advice come rolling in!

The s_p_o_o_n is copywrite of my mate Tiffany! The strip U tube sounds okay but do you have any good looking sisters? General VIP is right, CDs are a great idea. Maybe you can have T shirts that read: I bought 20 parts in Machin and all I got was this @#$%ing t-shirt! ;D or maybe you can pose nude on your t-shirt and have it say: "Machin - we will do anyting to get to 50K" and leave your phone number under it!!!

::)Hey, I like your T-shirt idea! ALOT!
Let me think about that one... ;D
Any more ideas?
The cd idea could be effective, but is not original...

I loke the T-shirt ideas from Brian, though the standard cd for 2 parts seems to work for everyone else. I personally believe in creativity and so think you should look for something that is you and just you but lo only so many people can be truly creative.

Hello - a second vote for the seduction I see. Who wants to own up to leaving that one? Maybe I'll want to see your body too ;D

My 2p's worth ...
If you have a back catalog it's a neat idea to offer CDs for parts (in whatever amounts seem reasonable) but you have to remember that unscrupulous Believers could take your CD then take their parts back. I guess that is probably a risk worth taking, but it's maybe something to think about.
For my part, I'd say I'd buy a part in a band as a pre-purchase of the $50K CD, so I'm just buying in advance. If someone likes your music enough they ought to be willing to do that, surely? A copy of a back catalog CD for 2 or 3 or more parts doesn't seem unreasonable though.
T-Shirts are a good idea - I'd actually like Sellaband to have merchandise under the Promote button for Artists, so I can get a T-shirt for the Artists I really like, with their logo (presumably, decided by the Artist) and some Sellaband promotion too). Quite how the money might be shared amongst SAB and the Artist is perhaps a thorny question though!
Gigs are where it's at for me. Play a gig near where I live and I will try and come and see you! It's perhaps a bit traditional, but it's got to be the best way to build up a fan-base!
Cheers UBG

Here's a thought.
If any Artist is going to be offering any incentives, in the way of CDs, T-shirts, badges, etc, they could send one of each to the SAB HQ so they can build up a museum of such freebies!
The SAB Tribune could run a regular piece on what stuff has been sent in too, providing some advertising for the Artists.
Cheers

Good one... because even if we do such a thing, how could we reach those hundreds of believers out there?
Maybe once the official SAB forum is launched, this will all be much easier, but untill then... This forum is great, but you must search through alot of accounts to find the link... I accidently bumped into it by visiting netvalar's file.
We're past the spamming period a little, but how can we announce such an action when we don't have thousands of believers... yet!
Anyway, those reactions are great, let's keep 'em coming!

You do know you'll never get me as a believer, no matter how nice you are and how good your music is, because of that spamming period?
