Yes, likewise I have both those messages. Though in my case the date is March 4th, hence why the question of anyone earlier in the queue had got them, or the process had stalled at an earlier stage. If I were Sellaband though, I'd have someone working non-stop on Monday dealing with the payout requests. This post is just one sign that things could get very interesting next week, particularly if you take note that the response to said post by a member of Sellaband staff has since been deleted, although interestingly you can still find what it was if you look elsewhere on the Getsatisfaction site. And I wouldn't say that response is going to inspire confidence.

I hope you can tell us some good news tuesday but I think I am not the only one that fears we will need more more patience.... To be honest I think it will be quite a miracle if the payment will be in time considered how hectic it must have been the last week in the SAB-office...I doubt that paybacks have a priority....

Yep, and I really don't see how bringing the feds into it (or even threatening to bring the feds into it) can help! They can only either "ask SAB to pay up" or "take some sort of action" against the company. We're already asking and 'action' can only damage nSAB which risks putting all the funds back in the hands of the bankruptcy people which can only add more time and pain to the process of getting the money out! Official answer now on Getsatisfaction now. Payouts promised to start on Monday 15th of March. Whatever starting means. Hmm, maybe there are really 1000s of payout requests to handle, so they can't all be done on this monday

Sending out standard bogus confirmation mails promising 5-7 weekdays for the processing was not a very smart move. New confusion, new delays, new broken promises... let's simply say: Business as usual in Sellaland ;D

Sending out standard bogus confirmation mails promising 5-7 weekdays for the processing was not a very smart move. LOL, it wasn't that long ago that SAB-HQ were being berated for not having automated responses. At least the automated response is some proof you've started the ball rolling to get your money out, which somewhat makes me doubt your " bogus" claim:- bogus confirmation email? No. It was/is a real confirmation email and I'm very pleased to have received it. Maybe a bogus claim on the 5-7 days? OK, the jury is still out on that one, but given the recent upheaval it would seem silly to expect there would be no fall out. Hey Ho, I don't mind waiting, but I won't be pleased if the trigger-happy nutjobs call in the feds before I get my funds back! UBG

@ubg: Of course I didn't mean sending no email at all. But what about an confirmation email with telling telling the truth, for a change, instead of unfounded promises and deadlines:
"Because of the new situation, we currently don't know when we will be able to do the payouts again. At the moment, we are negotiating and setting up a new account for the money to be transferred. We kindly ask you for some patience, your payout request is registered. Your money is safe. As soon as we know an exact date when we will be ready to perform the payouts again, we'll inform you by another email. In the meanwhile, thank you for your patience."
Took me three minutes to write, add some more minutes to replace the old autoresponder text with the new one. That's probably too much for our experts of Sellaband. Ridiculous! Not that I expected it from Sellaband. The old staff is doing their job the usual way.

I didn't see you suggesting they change the automated response text before anyone had noticed it. Not to mention they must've been busier than a one armed paper-hanger with crabs! Automated responses are a double edged sword my friend. The whole point of them is you set them up once and don't have to worry about them ever again ... until you do! Obviously, in an ideal world someone would have remembered about it, or noticed it, and changed it. It's easy to see the problem once it has occurred but remembering to check each automated detail of a (large) system on a regular basis to ensure they all continue to reflect the current situation somewhat negates the point of automating it in the first place. Actually, I'd suggest changing it to not suggest how long the payout might take because some of that process is outside the control of those making the payout and there are always those who will take the wording as some sort of binding contract rather than just trying to be helpful. Sheeze, but you guys are all over the minutiae like a bad rash eh! Life must be one constant disappointment eh! Now that's what I call ridiculous! My glass is half full and I bet your glass isn't just half empty but it's not clean enough either ... and HEY ... is it chipped too! WAITER! WAITER! .... and dust on the surface ... DUST! DUST on my water... WAITER WAITER! ... call the feds there's dust on my dirty chipped half glass of water! ... I DON'T BELIEVE IT ... it's left a ring on the table too ... Grrr Grrr GRRRRRRR [head explodes] Hey Ho ... still happier to have got an automated response with some (potential) errata than to have not got a response at all ... and it's sunny today, and just look at those beautiful flowers ... and can I hear birds singing. Hm, reading all this again - I don't think any of you actually deserves its money back, look at it as 'learning cost'
